About
Doulas Through Life was founded out of a deep passion for newborns and a commitment to supporting families through the complexities of the journey through parenthood. After witnessing how often new parents—mothers and fathers alike—feel overwhelmed, unheard, and under-supported, Our founders recognized the need for a space rooted in community, where families without support could find their own. Losing her own mother very early on, Yanesa's eyes were open to the difficulties that may lie ahead when it came to taking those next steps without the typical support. Which opened her heart as she realized many others may feel the same way and deserve someone in their corner as well.
Built on compassion, connection, and continuity of care, Doulas Through Life exists to walk alongside families—not in front of them—as they heal, grow, and build confidence in parenthood. Whether it’s the first days home with a newborn, emotional and physical recovery, or learning to trust your instincts, our doulas provide hands-on care, education, and advocacy every step of the way. It truly takes a village—and here, you are part of ours.
Mission
At Doulas Through Life, our mission is to provide compassionate, culturally, responsive,and nonjudgmental postpartum support to families during one of life’s most sacred and vulnerable seasons. Rooted in public health principles and community care, we uplift mothers, fathers, and families with education, advocacy, and hands-on support. From birth and beyond, we are committed to helping families feel held, seen, and empowered as they navigate the transition into parenthood.
Vision
We envision a world where no parent feels alone, unheard, or unsupported during any period. Doulas Through Life strives to build strong, sustainable communities of care where every family—regardless of background, circumstance, or experience—has access to knowledge, nurturing, and continuity of support. Our vision is to redefine postpartum care as a shared village experience, grounded in compassion, connection, and lifelong support.
